Liposomes

PhytoPharma was the first European company who developed liposomes in Europe and has a patent for dry liposomal systems and working on a second one.

At this moment we build more than 5 production facilities worldwide and developed more than 200 formulations, all food grade.

Liquids

PhytoPharma has developed at least 100 formulations for liquid dosage forms: from drinks upto nasal sprays.

Dr. Klaas Riepma is patent holder of several liquid dosage forms for nutraceuticals.

Powders

PhytoPharma does develop and produce powders for nutraceuticals. we have experience in the extraction of fresh and dried herbs, mushrooms, minerals and vitamins: with the right powder construction an optimum absorption can be obtained.

Freeze drying

PhytoPharma has several freeze dryers at its disposal to help you develop a dry preparation from an extract. We have years of expertise to stabilize the most complex compositions by means of freeze-drying.
 
This gives the opportunity to stabilize tinctures and active liquids using this drying technique.

Spray drying

Not all liquids are suitable for freeze-drying. That is why we have a professional spray dryer at our disposal to dry a liquid quickly and adequately.

PhytoPharma is the first Dutch company to have a patent for the development and production of dry liposomes.

Capsules & tablets

PhytoPharma has the unique ability to make tablets -almost- without excipients. Where others low-cost “beat up powders” without considering the properties of the various ingredients, we develop recipes that fit elegantly into a tablet.

We take into account strict drug standards to match disintegration time and solubility. Clean label is our goal. It takes a little more time to develop, but then there is often also a unique composition.
