Freeze drying, also known as lyophilization or cryodesiccation, is a low temperature dehydration process that involves freezing the product and lowering pressure, removing the ice by sublimation (Wikipedia). It has several advantages. Low in mirobiological contamination, no heat and decomposition of sensitive materials.

All formulations are developed in extenso in our laboratory scale freeze dryers, Also in this case every ingredient needs its own formulation.
